Martin, furious after night in a hotel due to bedbug bites, storms to the front desk to complain to the receptionist, Girl. She dismisses his concerns, so Martin insists she check the room herself. Misinterpreting his seriousness, Girl takes it as a sexual invitation. Back in the room, Girl seduces Martin, and they end up having sex while bedbugs emerge. Afterward, Martin discovers it was lice, not bedbugs, fueling his rage as he runs back to confront her again.
